The extremely rigid system to get an appointment is, quote, 'call at 8.00am'. Why?
Dreadful surgery all round. First of all you have to battle your way through receptionists that are there (so it would seem) to interrogate and road block your attempts to see a doctor. If you pass this stage you then see a locum whom you’ll never see again. This practice used to be great but has gone rapidly downhill since the departure of Dr Rogers and Dr Bellamy etc.
I am so angry at how I was treated the other day by a receptionist, I don't trust to write much more than that. Their system sucks. I know corona has made things much worse, but it was already bad.
I feel like I have no doctor, and I am not alone. Sort it out. I know morale is low, but try being on this side of your screwed-up system. Fuming! If there was an option for giving NO star for receptionist, I would.
With the introduction of a new system, which seems to be based on chaos and a catch 22 reasoning. The centre has rapidly deteorated. When you do finally get an appt. It would appear the time slot means nothing, add another half hour to it!!!
Contacted by receptionist to arrange telephone appointment with GP regarding recent blood tests. Appointment made. GP called on time. Extremely helpful and solution found mutually without needing to see GP. Excellent service by all and thanks to Dr Sidhu.
